DarkMatter puts cyber security at centre of Future Technology Week agenda

DarkMatter, an international cyber security firm headquartered in the UAE, announces its major participation at the Future Technology Week event taking place from 29 - 31 March, 2016 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). 

The Future Technology Week, of which DarkMatter is the Founding Cyber Security Partner, brings together four reputable industry trade events under one umbrella, and comprises Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference (GISEC); Internet of Things Expo (IoTX); The Big Data Show; and Gulf Enterprise Mobility Exhibition & Conference (GEMEC).

DarkMatter is the Cyber Security Innovation Partner for GISEC, which is one of the Middle East’s largest annual ICT conferences and exhibitions attracting hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors every year. 

Successfully attracting top industry professionals including CIOs, CTOs, CSOs and other CxOs from key industry verticals including finance, energy, telecom, government, and IT, GISEC represents the coming together of a wide range of industry players interested in learning how technology will impact their development.

Chief Executive Officer of DarkMatter, Faisal Al Bannai is a keynote speaker at GISEC.

Harshul Joshi, Senior Vice President of Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance at DarkMatter will also participate in the keynote session, with Eric Eifert, Senior Vice President - Managed Security Services at DarkMatter set to host a roundtable session that will focus on ‘How to best protect against your organisation’s insider threat’.

Dr. Najwa Aaraj, Vice President of Special Projects at DarkMatter will detail elements of Mobility Security Strategy in a panel session entitled ‘Security Solutions for the mobile embedded world’.

Stephen Brennan, Senior Vice President of Cyber Network Defence at DarkMatter is set to participate in a session entitled ‘The connected fate of the data explosion and security threats’ amongst other engagements. Scott Rea, Senior Vice President of Public Key Infrastructure at DarkMatter, meanwhile, will contribute to a special workshop on ‘Burning Paper Chains’.
